South Carolina

Well I did it… I put Ben on a plane for South Carolina. He is in Columbia for 5 days to do some training.

I don’t think this would be so tough on me however… since Ben and I met a year and 7 months ago we have not spent more than 2 days apart. And since we have been married (8 months on Wednesday) we have not spent 1 night apart.

I’m sure this is worse for me than him. But I just hope and pray this week goes by very quickly!!!

Flu Shot

Monday was annual Flu Shot day at Sunshine Terrace. As usual I filled out the papers, stood in line, faced the other way and said ouch as the needle poked me!
The aches and pains started Tuesday. Thursday came the nausea and sure enough Friday night came the throwing up.

It was down hill from there. Missed temple session Saturday morning, church on Sunday and work on Monday.

It is times like these I am so grateful for a husband who will fix me soup, run the hot water and fill the tub with bubble bath, buy lots and lots of Gatorade and lay around and watch movies with me.

He seems to be the only one lately that can make me feel better. However, I do think things are getting better. Recovery just seems to be going a little bit slower than I would like.

What have I learned from this: What a great husband I have!!! and the only other thing I can say is....DARN FLU SHOT!
